Coaching

Coaching is more hands-on time with the individual doing the healing work. Many times, people want to follow through on their clinicians’ recommendations but find themselves stuck. Week after week they report back that they haven’t done much outside of therapy. They want to but feel they just can't. We help them learn and follow through on the crucial life skills necessary to thrive through life.

People are not lazy. Our clients are insightful and filled with potential. Sometimes unfortunately, when someone is stuck but knows their potential, they feel even worse about themselves, which makes them feel more paralyzed. It becomes a vicious cycle that can feel nearly impossible to break out of. Many times, someone just needs extra support outside the therapy room. 

Together we will come up with a plan to help the client move forward. Our approach is nonjudgmental and with a ton of understanding as well as always pushing the person to do what they can with where they are holding right now and then a bit more. We have seen countless times that people go from surviving to thriving with clinical support and someone to help bridge the gap to daily life. 

We connect the family and client to many outside resources. Clients also have the option of receiving in-house coaching from a licensed nurse for wellness and nutrition guidance as well as a personal trainer who offers strength and endurance training and MMA. Our goal is for people to start living a full and productive life! This starts with learning life skills and gaining new experiences!
